N2O mitigation action at chemical industry facilities is a large and cost-effective lever for reducing greenhouse gas emissions globally. This applies to emissions from nitric acid, adipic acid and caprolactam production alike. With a climate neutrality target for 2060 in place, the PRC may well use this considerable potential to advance its decarbonization efforts and thereby effectively contribute to the implementation of the Paris Agreement.
