This is our third edition of the Africa agrifoodtech investment report and it’s certainly been an interesting time. From a peak of over $700 million in funding in 2022, it crashed to a trough of $275 million last year in 2023. We don’t yet know if 2024 will fare better although in the first half of the year there were signs of recovery with a modest 1.6% year-over-year increase in funding
