The six Western Balkans (WeBa) countries are currently undergoing significant changes in their economies, societies, and environments, as well as potential integration into the European Union (EU). This presents both opportunities and challenges for these countries. However, the urban transport systems in the region often fail to meet the required capacity and level of service, resulting in increased traffic congestion, air pollution, a lack of accessibility, and other negative social, enviro
