In the 2024 “Report of the Partnership on Measuring Information and Communication Technology for Development” (E/CN.3/2024/29), it is noted that the UN DESA Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government proposed that the following indicators be added to the Partnership’s core list of ICT indicators in 2021: (a) presence of a national e-government strategy or equivalent; (b) presence of digital identity or similar authentication required to enable access to online services; and
