Using Malaysia as a case study, this report evaluates how closely the outcomes of GST1 align with Malaysia’s current NDCs and other climate policies for mitigation and adaptation.Key recommendations include expanding the scope of climate policies, increasing ambition in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and non-CO2 emissions and strengthening forest conservation efforts.
