Fifty-three per cent on average across 30 countries think the mental health of children in their country is poor. Only 37% say the same about children’s physical health. When we asked people what are the top challenges affecting young people, mental health comes out top, ahead of issues like the country’s economy and social media. Parents are just as likely as those without kids to think it’s the most important challenge facing young people.
