EMEA SUPPORTS THE WELLBEING ECONOMY 75% of respondents believe a country’s performance should be measured by the wellbeing of its citizens, compared to 25% who favour the more traditional GDP. Support for this perspective is slightly higher among older generations than younger ones. PESSIMISM FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS IN ITALY AND GERMANY Less than half of respondents in Italy (45%) and Germany (43%) believe that future generations will have a better quality of life compared to the current one.
