Over the next three decades, Africa’s urban population will experience rapid growth, doubling the number of people living in cities. According to data from Africapolis, by 2050, the continent’s urban population will have grown from 704 million to 1.4 billion, and 2 out of 3 Africans will live in an urban area. As urban agglomerations expand, the demand for land, housing, infrastructure, and services will increase rapidly. The way cities are built impacts every aspect of urban life, in
