During the first three quarters of 2023China's GDP grew by 5.2% yearon-year to 91 .3 trillion yuan. In the thirdquarter, the GDP increased by 4.9%YoY and 1.3%% quarterly. Thanks to thisstronger-than-expected growthperformance and recent policyannouncements the InternationalMonetary Fund (IMF) has recentlyraised itsforecast for China's GDPgrowth in 2023 from 5% to 5.4% and for2024 from 4.2% to 4.6%.

Although China's GDP grew at a higherratein Q2 2023 (6.3%) than in Q3(4.9%),
