The frail upward trend of the global economy is in danger of coming to an abrupt halt. Growth is set to drop to around 2.7 percent in 2025 if President Trump goes through with his plans to impose new tariffs. With no new tariffs, growth would likely reach 3.2 percent as in the previous year.
