The CHRB focuses on sectors considered to be high risk for negative human rights impacts. Some sectors are more likely to be associated with severe negative human rights impacts. This is due to factors such as complex supply chains, labour-intensive operations or operations in weak regulatory environments. By focusing on high-risk sectors, the CHRB can drive accountability and improvement in areas where human rights impacts are most significant, ensuring that companies in these industries pri
