According to McKinseyanalysis,between 2023and 2030, ultra-high-net-worth'(UHNW) andhigh-net-worth?(HNW) families in theAsia-Pacificregion are set to experience an intergenerationalwealth transfer estimated at $5.8 trillion.UHNWfamilies are expected to account for about 60percent of thetotal wealth transfer (Exhibit 1), andmany are setting up family offices to facilitate theprocess.Accordingly,the number of single-familoffices in Hong Kong and Singapore, the hubs forsuch entities in Asia-P
