Global merchandise trade rebounded in 2022 to reach record levels. Latest OECD data indicates that G20 merchandise exports, which account for 75% of global trade, reached their highest level in history (US$19 trillion) in 2022. G20 exports performance in 2022 was mainly driven by the European Union (EU) as it contributed to more than half of the recorded export growth of 11%. G20 merchandise imports surged by 14% to almost US$20 trillion in 2022, with the EU and the US accounting for more tha
