The Artificial Intelligence Act of the European Union, also known as the EU AI Act or AI Act, is one of the world’s first comprehensive legal frameworks for artificial intelligence, implementing a risk-based regulatory approach that categorises AI systems into risk tiers, each with unique requirements. The AI Act imposes obligations on various operators within the AI value chain, including organisations that create AI systems (providers) and those who use AI systems (deployers) to ensure safe
