In this article, we consider only at aviation occurrences involving civil commercial aircraft referred to as transport category airplanes in the U.S. and large airplanes in the European Union. These include, for example, the Boeing 787, Boeing 737, Airbus A350, Airbus A320, SSJ-100 (RRJ-95), MC-21, and Comac C919. However, the examples provided may also be useful in analyzing cybersecurity risks for other types of aircraft, including light aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial systems. This
