The FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) was launched as part of FIFA’s vision to promote football globally and to support the progress of all member associations towards the aim of increasing global competitiveness and bridging the gap between the different regions. 2. A fundamental step towards this objective of enhancing the competitiveness of national teams globally is to take a coordinated, holistic and scientific approach to developing talent pathways across the entire world in order to
