Social protection interventions are essential to realizing the objectives of the World Bank Group’s Gender Strategy (2024-2030). A large body of empirical evidence demonstrates that social protection interventions advance and protect human capital; promote women’s access to jobs, assets, financial inclusion and entrepreneurship; and provide opportunities for enhancing women’s leadership and decision-making. More recent impac t evaluations have begun to examine the role of so cial protection i
