In the face of a challenging global economic environment, Saudi Arabia is diversifying its economy, reducing its reliance on oil, and focusing on expanding the non-oil sector. Despite experiencing stagnation in 2023, the country looked to scale up investments in the private sector to grow the economy by 4.4% this year compared to 0.03% the year prior. As it stands however, the growth rate for 2024 is projected at a modest 2.6% according to the IMF.
