The impact of climate change on public health presents critical risks that demand urgent attention. Vulnerable populations – such as low-income communities, populations residing in natural disaster-prone areas, women, children and the elderly, in particular – bear a disproportionate burden of such health risks with insufficient support for mitigation and recovery. It is crucial to acknowledge the interconnectedness of environmental changes and public health. Human health needs to be factored
