Public schools in the United States have become more diverse over the past two decades (U.S. Government Accountability Office, 2022). In line with this trend is a growing emphasis on the concept of educational equity. The demographics of the United States’ public school population have shifted not only in terms of race and ethnicities but also in socioeconomic status and disability status (U.S. Government Accountability Office, 2022; Schaeffer, 2023). Concurrently, disparities persist in acad
