The periodic FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture Circular No. 942 (C942) entitled Review of the state of world fishery resources: inland fisheries represents an ongoing commitment to improve global understanding of the role and value of inland capture fisheries. This fourth edition of the circular was initiated by the Fisheries and Aquaculture Division (NFI) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and was made possible also thanks to the collaboration and technical cont
