A PV system consists of modules, inverters, batteries and all installation and control components for modules, inverters and batteries. Other applications such as small mobile devices are not considered in this report. For the purposes of this report, PV installations are included in the 2024 statistics if the PV plants were installed and connected to the grid between January 1 st and December 31st , 2024, although commissioning may have taken place at a later date.
