These shocks and changes constituted a breeding ground for renewed interest in and discussions about the future of work, fostering a broad exploration of opportunities and challenges in the context of emerging technologies like GenAI. The analysis of the roundtable discussions highlights that there is no embrace of utopian narratives of ‘post-work’ societies nor of dystopian narratives of AI takeover and widespread unemployment across the three regions. Rather, stakeholders’ views across Asia
