According to ICAO Big Data, as indicated in Chart 1, the global passenger traffic continued to grow in 2024 with around 4.528 billion passengers transported worldwide, up from 4.17 billion passengers in 2023 and surpassed the pre-pandemic (2019) level of 4.5 billion passengers.
