In the EU/EEA widespread circulation of SARS-CoV-2 is still being observed, but with limited impact on hospitalisations. Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and influenza circulation remain at very low levels. • Following increasing long-term trends, SARS-CoV-2 is elevated in all age groups, however a small number of countries have seen decreasing trends in recent weeks. Severe disease, mainly affecting people aged 65 years and above, remains at low levels relative to previous epidemics.
