The world stands at a pivotal moment in the race to secure a liveable planet for all. As climate change accelerates – propelled by the warmest decade on record – we must act collectively to keep the Paris Agreement climate goal within reach. To keep the long-term global average surface temperature increase well below 2 °C above pre-industrial levels and pursue efforts to limit it to 1.5 °C, we need to make urgent and drastic cuts in greenhouse gas emissions by decisively scaling up renewable ene
