The same holds true within international education as data are compartmentalized for and processed by separate communities of practice, such as education abroad and international enrollment management. Effective data management within international education offices creates conditions conducive for knowledge sharing across teams and helps lift the fog that inhibits the development of strategic, decision-relevant intelligence.
