This research report describes the methodology and utility behind a "hazard card" climate game that can be played by itself or incorporated as a module into other wargames. The game is based on a deck of event cards that portray a range of climate change hazards at varying levels of severity. Participants draw a card representing the major climate hazard for each year of the game and discuss the associated impacts of that hazard from political, military, and economic perspectives.
