Wards Intelligence (Omdia’s sister company) forecasts that the global connected car parc (the total number of vehicles on the road) will grow from 356.7 million in 2023 to approximately 1.2 billion in 2035. One of the most interesting catalysts of growth of the connected car in the last ten year has been the growth of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) with new sales set to grow from 11 million in 2024 to 32 million in 2030.
