Approximately 204,000 public chargers and publicly accessible workplace chargers for light-duty vehicles had been deployed across the United States as of the end of 2024. From 2019 to 2024, the deployment rate of this non-home charging infrastructure for light-duty electric vehicles (EVs) grew about 25% annually. This is roughly equivalent to estimates of the growth rate needed in annual charging deployment to support continued expansion of the EV market. Charging deployment has not been unif
