The terms ‘Western Europe’ and ‘Central and Eastern Europe’ do not follow a strict definition. Many Central and Eastern European countries are now members of the EU while the UK is no longer a member. In this report, the ‘Western Europe’ region includes all EU27 countries plus the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, and Iceland. The ‘Central and Eastern Europe’ region currently includes Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, and Ukraine (Belar
