Hawai‘i’s tourism industry in 2024 continued to recover from impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and from the August 8, 2023, West Maui wildfires. For calendar year 2024, a total of 9,701,499 visitors arrived to the Hawaiian Islands, which was a slight increase (+0.5%) from the prior year.
