Advance estimates showed that Singapore's economy outperformedexpectations in 2024, expanding by 4.0% y-o-y, an acceleration from the 1.1%GDP growth in 2023, and surpassing MTl's projection of “1.0 to 3.0%" in Feb2024.H2 2024 saw growth primarily driven by a resurgence in themanufacturing sector, buoyed by an upturn in global demand for electronics.Service sector GDP growth also accelerated in 2024,except forAccommodation & Food Services which slowed from a high base in 2023.Singapore
