To better understand the feasibility and potential application of technologies that could enhance intersection safety, the DOT published the Enhancing the Safety of Vulnerable Road Users at Intersections; Request for Information (RFI) in the Federal Register, which was posted on September 16, 2022 and closed on November 15, 2022. The purpose of this report is to summarize insights from the 221 RFI responses received to inform DOT efforts for intersection safety as well as other department
