 New PV projects have seen increased interest and investment in recent years, with 268 GW of solar capacity installed worldwide in 2022, a number that is expected 
 to rise to 315 GW in 2023. In the EU alone, 41.4 GW of solar capacity was installed in 2022, up 47% from 2021.
