A balanced diet is not all about cutting back on certain foods or nutrients. Most of the top dietary risk factors in the UK are linked to the elements of the diet that we do not get enough of including whole grains, fruit, legumes, nuts, seeds and fibre. To address this, in 2021 we launched our ‘Action on Fibre’ initiative, working with 25 brands to help make higher fibre diets more appealing and easy for the population.
