The Academic Ranking of World Wniversities (ARwU) was first published in June 2003 bythe Center for World-Class Universities (CWCW), Graduate School of Education (formerlythe institute of Higher Education) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, and updated onan annual basis. Since 2009 the Acadamic Ranking of W
