In the early 1980s, analog mobile phones first appeared and were only used for voice calls. The secondgeneration (2G) digital mobiles came ten years later with GSM, offering text messaging (SMS) as the principal additional attribute, becoming the dominant technology worldwide. Around the turn of the millennium, 3G was introduced, which offered data download capabilities of around 1Mbps and could be described as ‘mobile broadband,’ while again ten years later, in 2010, the emergence of 4G (LTE
